Author submissions are now CLOSED.
The proceedings of the 13th International Hibernation Symposium will, as with previous Symposia, be published in the form of a book. Delegates will receive a copy upon arrival at the conference, and the cost of the book will be included in the registration fee.
Submitted chapters will be subject to a peer review process, and must be formatted according to the guidelines below. We encourage all presenting delegates to submit chapters (one per presenting author). In addition, individuals not speaking in any of the sessions may submit manuscripts for consideration for inclusion in the conference book. Please note, however, that due to space constraints priority will be given to chapters submitted by presenting delegates. The word limit for manuscripts is 3,500 words (please see guidelines below), but we encourage authors to submit shorter manuscripts if possible.
We are currently constructing a web-based system for chapter submission and peer review, which we expect to have on-line by early October.
The deadline for chapter submission is 31 October 2007. Once your manuscript is received, we will send it to 2-3 reviewers, and make an editorial decision based on their recommendations.
